Getting Tea Bagged

 

So we all know the health benefits that come with drinking tea. But have you ever thought about the benefits from soaking  in it? 

Yes people, I am talking about tea baths! If you havn’t tried this,or even heard of it, Im here to help! Personally, I take a tea bath at least once a week! I love them!

Tea Baths are simple , pretty much, you take a bath in tea!

Fill up your tub, drop in some tea,let it sit for about 10 minutes, and jump in! Soak for 20 min,and get out! Feels amazing!

 

Different Teas have different benefits. Here are a few :)

  • White Tea : Used to soothe tired skin, and has many antioxidant properties.
  • Rosemary Tea: Used for wrinkles and as an anti aging ingredient . Can also be used for under-eye puffiness
  • Ginger Tea: helps simulate digestion, also helps relieve tension.
  • Thyme: is a natural antihistamine and antiseptic; it can help clear up nasal congestion.Try it with a drop of lavender essential oil for a truly relaxing experience.
  • Green Tea:  detox your body, relax you, and give your skin a bountiful amount of minerals
Tip** For a more relaxing experience, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil, OR a few flowers to your water!

 

Vinegar!

 

Vinegar is a liquid substance consisting mainly of acetic acid (CH3CO2H) and water, the acetic acid being produced through thefermentation of ethanol by acetic acid bacteria.[1] It is today mainly used in the kitchen as a general cooking ingredient, but historically, as the most easily available mild acid, it had a great variety of industrial, medical, and domestic uses, some of which (such as a general household cleanser) are still promoted today.

 So if you follow me on facebook and read my blog often, you’d know that i am a huge “do it yourself-er”

I love finding ways to use regular household items,in every day life to

SAVE SOME MONEY!

Here are some awesome ways to use VINEGAR for Health And Beauty benefits :)

  • Use a vinegar and water mixture to rinse your hair after shampooing! Vinegar helps strip what the shampoo couldnt! Like product build up! It also relieves itch scalp AND helps brighten highlighted or dyed hair !
  • To relieve dry and itchy skin, add 2 tablespoons of vinegar to your bath water! Voila!
  • To relieve arthritis pains, drink 1 glass of water and 2 teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar before each meal, do this everyday for about 1 month! (this will also help with an upset stomach)
  • Apply vinegar to sooth Bee or Jelly-fish Stings!
  • Apple Cider Vinegar can also be used as an astringent for oily skin! mix 50% vinegar and 50% water and use once a day!

 

 And there you have it ladies a gents! A few ways to give a whole new meaning to vinegar!!!!
